Welcome to Sri Sankara Vidyalaya
It was in June 1983, Sri Sankara Vidyalaya, Pammal embarked upon its journey as an English Medium School imparting conventional education blended with moral and ethical values and was recognized by Government of Tamilnadu as Matriculation Higher Secondary School.
It owes its birth to the clarion call given by His Holiness Jagadguru Sankaracharya Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal of Kanchi Kamkodi Peetam to service-minded persons to start a School. The Management of the School was taken over by Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Golden Jubilee Educational Institution in June 1985.
In last four decades the school has developed with high spirit to provide quality education and stand as a trend setter in and around the locality. The school imparts character and value-based education blended with modern teaching techniques enabling students to develop holistic personality.
The school stands on prime location and has three spacious floors to the Junior, Middle, and Senior level classes.
The school has a well-stocked library, laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer, Robotics, Communicative English, Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality.
Auditorium, Canteen, Flood lit ground, Running track and Basketball Court are some of the features of the school.
The school has a team of well qualified teachers and producing excellent results in board examinations – X, XI & XII – consistently.
In our ethos to satisfy educational demand of the current period, the school is venturing into CBSE affiliation starting 2022.
